Description
April to May: red, pure and steadfast. Bravoure grows on a mid-height stem, forty to fifty centimetres, and stands firmly upright. No drooping weakness: these are flowers with a clear voice.
This red tulip belongs in formal gardens, along an axis, or in broad groups. Plant it where you want red. Not tentatively in twos, but at least five or seven in one spot. Then the color speaks. They smell subtly pleasant. They are cut flowers too. Their strength lies more in mass plantings than in quick bouquets. They love full sun and well-drained soil. They do not naturalize, so you are not permanently bound to this color choice.
