Description
Soft pink bloom as full as a peony rose. It opens slowly and stands in bloom for weeks. May, the last phase of the tulip season. Filled, ruffled, perfect.
Angelique is one of the world's most famous peony tulips. Popular for decades, and a bestseller with importers. Late bloomer (from early May onwards), so she extends the season. Soft pink mixed with white, "coconut ice" as some call it. A double, filled bloom with ruffled edges. 40 to 50 centimetres, long stems, an excellent cut flower. Plant in full sun to part shade, she accepts both. Blooms for weeks. Pairs beautifully with blue, white or deep purple for colour balance. Scented. Low maintenance.
