Description

Albert Heijn belongs to the Fosterianas, also called Emperor tulips. That is the royal class of early, large blooms. This cultivar stands out in size and reliability. 35 to 45 centimetres tall, strong stem, red-yellow colour that shifts as it matures. Blooms from March to May, scented and an excellent cut flower. Plant in full sun to part shade, in good soil with drainage. She grows vigorously in open spots and borders alongside low-growing plants. Bees and butterflies adore her.
