Description
Double red bloom packed with petals, like a small peony on a sturdy stem. March to April, full and exuberant. The flower looks much bigger than the plant itself.
Abba belongs to the Double Early tulips. That group flowers much earlier than the grand summer classics. This red, scented variety is full of petals. That is typical for doubles. At 30 to 40 centimetres tall she stands firm and blooms for weeks. Beautiful in pots, planted in clusters, or in the early border. Good as a cut flower for indoors. Plant her in full sun or part shade, with plenty of food and good drainage. Scented and beloved by bees and butterflies.
