Description
Intense cobalt blue, nodding little stars. March, April. Blue carpets that color your garden after a couple of years. This is the blue people plant bulbs for.
Eastern star-hyacinth; full sun to full shade. Frost-hardy; naturalizes excellently, more every year. Loved by bees and other insects. Low maintenance. Toxic if eaten; not mouse/rabbit resistant. Combines nicely with yellow daffodils. Blue and yellow strengthen each other.
