Size and height
Grows to about 10 - 15 cm tall. Perhaps the deepest, most intense blue you can plant early in spring.
Coral-pink buds that open into star-shaped, slightly reflexed flowerlets. February, March, even earlier than the Siberian. Tiny plant, massive impact; plant dozens.
Very early bloomer; full sun to full shade; well-draining; frost-hardy. Naturalizes; self-seeding. Early nectar source for insects; low maintenance. Honest caveat: not mouse and rabbit resistant (they eat the bulbs). So protect them, or accept that the mouse sometimes wins. Planted massively you get the "sloppy natural" effect you are looking for.
The Earliest. Pink where you expect blue, possibly before snow is gone.
Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller. We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

You will see that saturated cobalt blue in few other bulbs, and it leaps out at once.

Once planted it spreads by itself into pools of blue under trees and in grass.

Full of nectar and pollen, so bees and butterflies find your garden effortlessly.
Once planted it spreads on its own and comes back stronger year after year.
Brings colour to shady spots where many other flowers give up.
Deer and roe deer usually leave these flowers alone, so your work stays standing.
Not popular with mice and voles, so the bulbs stay safe in the ground.

You can have flowers without a garden. A few pots are enough.

Plant in autumn and enjoy a sea of colour in spring.

Plant once, get more flowers every spring.

With the right bulbs you give bees and butterflies their first food.

That tricky spot under the tree? There are bulbs for that.

Give flowers that come back every year, not a bunch that wilts.
