Description
March and April. Yellow funnel-shaped flowers with backward-curling petals that arc gracefully upward. Carice is a cyclamineus: playful, elegant, and compact.
Carice belongs to the cyclamineus daffodils. The petals arc gracefully backward, as if resisting the wind. Recently introduced, still rare in gardens. Fragrant. Grows to 30 centimeters and is therefore ideal for pots and the front of borders. Plant ten to fifteen bulbs together for a full effect. Forms clumps and naturalizes well. Winter hardy and easy. Not suitable as a cut flower because of its delicate build.
The Wind Catcher. Yellow, backward-curving, playful: a daffodil that bows against the wind.
