Description
March and April. Pale apricot petals frame a short, frilly red-orange crown. This is refined in form: the small-cupped daffodil is elegant and balanced.
Altruist is small-cupped: the corona is clearly shorter than the petals. That gives the flower a careful, balanced form. Soft apricot and red-orange tones make it warm and inviting. Grows to 40 centimetres with strong stems. Great for cutting, pots, and borders. Plant the bulbs in groups of ten for the best effect. Naturalises and returns every year. Winter hardy and very easy, also suitable if you are just starting out.
