Description
Pale powder-blue with silvery sheen, different from the usual deep blue. March to April an elegant shade. Named after a famous British plantwoman.
This is a special variation, named after Valerie Finnis, garden photographer and plant expert. Same robust traits: hardy and naturalizing. Plant in full sun to half-shade, well-draining soil. Special advantage: it doesn't spread like many other grape hyacinths. The soft colour is refined. Bee-friendly.
