Description
Sky-blue top that transitions to rich purple-blue at the base of each cluster. March to May a refined two-tone play. Taller than azureum.
This is Latifolium, also called the two-tone grape hyacinth. Plant in sun to half-shade, well-draining soil. Hardy and naturalizing. Special advantage: it doesn't produce offshoots, so doesn't spread uncontrollably and blooms neatly for years. Perfect for those wanting more border calm. Bee-friendly. Group for effect.
