Description
In June they bloom in two colors. Purple and white in the same flower. The long stems dance in the wind.
Iris Surprise is a Dutch iris. The two-color effect makes this cultivar special. The stems are strong and do not bend. They grow to 50 to 60 centimeters. Full sun to partial shade is ideal. Plant them in October. Water them well as they grow. Every spring the clumps grow larger. So they bloom richer each year. The flowers carry a soft scent. Butterflies and pollinators find them. In the vase they last for weeks.
