Description
In February this blend blooms like a palette. Golden yellow, soft lilac blue and deep amethyst purple. All at once at 10 to 15 centimeters high.
The scent is soft and fine. This is the dwarf iris in three colors. It blooms earliest in the season. Plant them in October in stony soil. In large groups the effect shows best. In pots you can shelter them in wet weather. Full sun to partial shade works well. Good drainage is everything. Bees and other pollinators find them. Every year they come back stronger and richer. One honest warning: they do not survive wet feet. So choose the spot with care.
