Description
May and June bring color. Yellow, purple, violet, blue and white together. The stems are long enough to cut.
This is a blend of Dutch irises. Different cultivars in one bag. They grow 50 to 60 centimeters. Full sun to partial shade is ideal. Plant them in October. Let the water drain well. Every spring the clumps grow larger. So they come back on their own each year. Butterflies find the flowers. The scent is soft and fresh. Bees find plenty of food here. You have cut material for weeks.

Plant this iris in Jan, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec. As long as the ground is not frozen, there is still time.
Rule of thumb: plant a bulb two to three times as deep as the bulb is tall. The exact depth and spacing for this variety are on the planting card attached to the bag and in the planting guide we send along.
Fully grown, this iris reaches about 50 - 60 cm. Useful to know for the order in your border: low at the front, tall at the back.
Not by itself: this variety does not naturalise. In well-drained soil it can come back, but the finest bloom is in the first spring.
