Description

This is a Dutch iris. The stems do not bend. The color is an intense blue-purple. That makes any garden festive. Plant it in October. Full sun to partial shade works best. Water regularly as it grows. Then it comes back on its own. Pollinators and butterflies find it. The flowers carry a soft scent. They last a long time in the vase. You can cut from them for weeks. Every year the clump grows larger.
