Size and height
Grows to about 20 - 30 cm tall. A full, densely set flower spike on a sturdy, upright stem.
Splendid Cornelia is neither standard pink nor standard purple. It's pink-purple, a nuance that makes the flowers elegant. Plant them close together in groups and they look like a work of art. They smell strong and sweet, as hyacinths do.
That pink-purple colour requires careful combinations. White makes the colour stand out. Soft blue brings more harmony. Or plant them alone for full attention. Plant in groups of three to five bulbs, ten centimetres apart. They grow in sun and semi-shade, in borders and pots. Indoors on a glass of water Splendid Cornelia also blooms. Just as full and just as fragrant. This is hyacinth for those who look at colour nuances, not categories.
The Artist. Every tone is exactly right.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.
