Description
Magical Touch is brick red with a fine white edge along each petal. It looks as if someone has carefully painted that rim. A flower that breathes elegance and refinement.
The name refers to the breeder who created it. That is Ton Peter van Nieuwkerk, with his famous 'magical touch'. The flower is single, not exaggerated in size, but full of style. You place the bulb half above the soil in a warm, light spot. Six to eight weeks later it blooms open. Magical Touch can also grow on water in an amaryllis vase. Only the roots should touch the water. After the first bloom, reblooming is not guaranteed, but is possible.
