Description

April, May: hanging bells in purple with checkerboard pattern, white, and mixed forms all together. A carpet of natural variation. 20 to 30 centimeters. Fritillary in full glory.

The fritillary is a classic of old lands and meadows. It is named for the bird-like pattern on the flower bells. This mix gives the full range: checkered purple, white, and everything in between. It wants constantly moist soil. Drought hurts. It tolerates sun to shade. Naturalizes magnificently in pasture and meadow into ever-wider carpets. Rodents and deer have no interest. Fragrant. Plant generously, at least 20 to 30, in damp spots and let them do their thing.

The Beautiful Disorder. Chaos is garden art here.

Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food. You see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.

We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.
