April, May: pure white hanging bells, no checkerboard pattern. Slender, 20 to 30 centimeters. A fritillary that is very sure of itself.
The fritillary is a Dutch classic of the stinzenflora. You know it from damp meadows and old gardens. The alba form lacks the typical checkerboard pattern and gives pure, elegant white bells. It wants constantly moist soil. Dry conditions do not suit it. It prefers sun through shade. Naturalizes in pasture and meadow; rodents and deer have no interest. Fragrant. Also good in pots. Plant generously, at least 20, in damp spots or at the edge of ditches.
The Confident. White without reservation.
Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food. You see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.
