Grows to about 10 - 15 cm tall. A hardy cyclamen that flowers right in autumn, with beautifully marbled leaves in the shade.
August through November: small lilac-to-pink flowers above ivy-like marbled foliage. Ornamental value all season: first the bloom, then the leaf. Low and quiet, but with real character. A plant with no interest in showing off.
This hardy autumn cyclamen flowers before the foliage fully emerges. That creates a lovely effect. The leaf that follows is striking: autumn-green with silver veining and ivy-shaped. It stays beautiful all winter. Plant shallow, with the tuber just below the surface. Moist, humus-rich soil gives the best results. Half-shade to full shade, sheltered from harsh wind. It spreads slowly into ever-wider clusters. Bees love it. Mice and rabbits leave cyclamen alone.
The Modest One. Two seasons of ornament in one small plant.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

Just as most flowers fade, it opens its fine little flowers under trees and shrubs.

Even without the bloom, the silver-green marbled leaves adorn the shade for months.
