Size and height
Grows to about 8 - 10 cm tall. A small, delicate crocus that opens very early in the year and naturalises nicely in the lawn.
Three color rings in one flower: lilac-blue, white ring, warm yellow heart. Tricolor is a masterpiece of nature, sometimes even a fourth hue (pink-lilac) is visible.
This is a botanical crocus (Crocus sieberi subsp. sublimis) that looks delicate but grows strongly and naturalizes beautifully. The three clearly separated color rings are unique. When closed (dull weather) the yellow-orange tube remains visible as a color accent. Suitable for borders, lawn, pots, rock gardens. The flower opens and closes in warmth. Fragrant. Leave the leaf alone after flowering; mow only six weeks later. Height about ten centimeters.
The Painter. Three-color masterpieces cost her no effort.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.

Full of nectar and pollen, so bees and butterflies find your garden effortlessly.
Once planted it spreads on its own and comes back stronger year after year.
Deer and roe deer usually leave these flowers alone, so your work stays standing.
Does very well in a pot, so even with just a balcony or terrace you enjoy it fully.
Plant and leave; it needs hardly any attention and does the rest by itself.

You can have flowers without a garden. A few pots are enough.

Plant in autumn and enjoy a sea of colour in spring.

Plant once, get more flowers every spring.

With the right bulbs you give bees and butterflies their first food.

Give flowers that come back every year, not a bunch that wilts.
