Size and height
Grows to about 15 - 25 cm tall. Large pink cups that simply rise from the bare ground in autumn, without leaves.
September, October: pink-lilac cup-shaped blooms, straight from the ground. Not a leaf in sight. As if autumn crocus is saying: "I come, I bloom, I go." Startling, bare, dramatic. Much later, deep in spring, the leaves appear.
Autumn crocus does something unusual. It blooms in autumn without leaves. The foliage arrives in spring. Large: roughly 15 to 25 centimeters tall. It needs good drainage. Wet feet are fatal. Plant in groups of three to five in sunny to half-shaded spots. Bee-friendly, very hardy, and it returns on its own each year. Note: the plant is toxic. Do not place it where pets or children can reach it. An unusual plant for anyone who wants the unexpected.
The Late Bloomer. Its season starts when everyone else's ends.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

Full of nectar and pollen, so bees and butterflies find your garden effortlessly.
Once planted it spreads on its own and comes back stronger year after year.

Does very well in a pot, so even with just a balcony or terrace you enjoy it fully.
Plant and leave; it needs hardly any attention and does the rest by itself.
