St. Brigid is the double-flowered group from the eighteenth century, named after an Irish saint. The flowers are fuller and velvet-like. Plant in a sunny spot in well-draining soil. Excellent cut flowers. Bees love them. Deer and rabbit resistant. Their seed propagation is unique: seeds sit in woolly puffs. Plant in groups for best effect.
The Full One. Double petals mean double elegance every time.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
