Grows to about 25 - 40 cm tall. A cheerful colour mix of single anemones with paper-thin petals, ideal as a cut flower and in the border.
Red, pink, blue, purple and white all mixed together. Each flower brings a fresh surprise. They appear in April and May like a joyful painting.
This is the classic De Caen group with single flowers and dark centres. Born in eighteenth-century France, they've never fallen from favour. Plant in groups of at least ten in well-draining soil. Sunny spot preferred. They are excellent cut flowers with long vase life. Bees adore them. They naturalize easily, so no need to replant yearly.
