Description
Wine-red flower head with a tuft of flowers on top. White and yellow stamens add the detail. One of the latest-flowering alliums: early to mid-summer. Stems around 1 metre.
Red Mohican is literally a punk-allium. Wine-red, almost purple, with a wilful green tuft on top. The stamens give white and yellow details. Refinement amid all the roughness. One of the latest-flowering alliums. It closes the season when almost everything else is done. To about 1 metre tall, sturdy grower. Fine cut flower, and remarkable as a dried flower too. Many alliums look much alike. This one stands out for its colour and unusual form.
