Description
A sturdy red Triumph tulip that stands upright and knows no setbacks. A classic tulip, mature in appearance. April, May.
Seadov belongs to the Triumphs. That group was created in 1923 from a cross of early and late tulips. It was built for exactly this: robust, reliable, full and broad. Clear red, no fuss. Height 40 to 50 centimetres, so not extreme, but solid and fully upright. Scented. Good for pots and for large, full garden borders. A fine cut flower: stiff in water and stays good for days. Short-lived as a perennial: plant fresh bulbs each year.

The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
