Description
Red-white with beautifully brown-marbled foliage. A Greigii tulip that stands close to the wild tulip. Pinocchio stays low, around twenty to thirty centimeters. That makes it perfect for pots and the front of borders, where it shades nothing.
Greigii tulips are recognizable by their ornamental foliage, which is already beautiful before blooming begins. The pattern on the leaves makes them interesting even before they flower. Pinocchio blooms early, March through May, and combines nicely with other low-growing spring bloomers. Not suitable for cutting, but in the garden it brings joy year after year.
