Description
Yellow-orange-green in a whimsical mix. The curled, fringed petals really look like parrot feathers. This is a parrot tulip, recognizable by that bizarre, intricate shape. Parrot King blooms in April and May. It grows forty-five to sixty centimeters tall and is for anyone who loves adventure.
Parrot tulips once arose as spontaneous mutations. They are large and striking. The petals curl at the edge and almost seem to hang. Plant them where you really want to see them, not hidden in a corner. They're beautiful in water and in large pots. The color combination is not for everyone. Those who love it never get enough.
