Description
A pink Darwin hybrid that grows regal on long, strong stems to 60 centimetres. She blooms in April and May. The pink colour is warm and inviting. She's not a sport of a well-known tulip. She's a cultivar in her own right. A secret favourite of those who know what they're looking for.
Darwin hybrids originated in 1943. Breeders crossed wild types for extremely long stems and very large flowers. Mystic van Eijk fully benefits from that heritage. She's pink, which is rare enough in this group, but also elegant. Plant her where she can stand out as a focal point. Alone or in large blocks with other warm tones. She's fragrant and highly suitable for cut flowers.
