Description
You recognise lily-flowered tulips right away. The petals are pointed and curved, as if they want to fly outward. They remind you of true lilies. In this mixed packet you get that elegant form in all kinds of colours. So you don't know exactly what will come up.
The lily-flowered group is a classic in the tulip family. They grow to 60 centimetres, so not the very tallest, but tall enough to stand out. They bloom in April and May. The mixed packet means surprise: maybe red, maybe white with stripes, maybe orange or pink. That's what makes them nice: you get variety without having to choose. In a vase, lily-flowered tulips work beautifully. Especially in larger bouquets, where their elegant form really shines.
