Description
Parrot tulip with pink petals that are green on the outside. Ruffled, feathered, watermelon tones. Despite the ruffled shape, the bloom stays calm and fresh. Not showy.
Green Wave is unusual: lavender-pink with broad bright green flames. Those flames run through cream-yellow into soft pink. The watermelon-colour effect is subtle and modern at once. She holds for three weeks as a cut flower. That is long for parrot tulips. Up to seventy centimetres tall, sturdy stem. Plant in groups for maximum effect. Those green accents pair unexpectedly well with modern gardens and contemporary bouquets. Blooms April to May. They want sun and good drainage.
