Description
In April and May, Formosa shows sunny yellow with soft green flames. Watercolor effect, 45 to 55 centimeters tall. These are viridiflora tulips, and Formosa is winning popularity fast.
Formosa is a viridiflora: those green stripes and flames are the signature. Painterly effect. RHS Award of Garden Merit (British horticultural society) recognizes her as valuable. Remarkably long-lasting, in garden and vase alike, typical for viridiflora. Lightly spreading petals, soft round shape. Plant in full sun. That green tone combines well with silvery foliage.
