In April and May, Formosa shows sunny yellow with soft green flames. Watercolour effect, 45 to 55 centimetres tall. These are viridiflora tulips, and Formosa is gaining popularity fast.
Formosa is a viridiflora: those green stripes and flames are the signature. Painterly effect. RHS Award of Garden Merit (British horticultural society) recognises her as valuable.
