Description
In April and May, Flaming Flag waves as a triumph. White with purple "flames", feathered pattern, 45 to 55 centimeters tall. This is the modern legacy of the historic Rembrandt tulip. Now as a healthy, stable cultivar.
Flaming Flag carries that characteristic feathered pattern. It was once a virus symptom, but is now baked into healthy cultivars. Those purple flames on white are classically Dutch. Think of the old Rembrandt tulips from centuries ago, now without virus. Triumph tulips are the strongest group, born around 1923. Plant in full sun. Those flames look like painted stripe patterns and make each flower different. Strong in mass planting.
