Description
March to April: glowing rose-red double peony-like flower with decorative white edge. Columbus stands on strong tall stems. Clearly professional-grade cut flower material.
This is a Double Early tulip, so early blooming. Popular in the professional cut flower industry. This combination of color, strength, and form works. Plant them in groups of seven to ten. Then that rose-red-white two-tone really shows. They smell pleasant. They are excellent cut flowers. Widely used in arrangements because they last well and that full form holds in water. They love full sun. They do not naturalize, so you are free in your annual planting plan.
