Description
Multi-flowered tulip: yellow-red on one stem, multiple blooms per bulb. May, 40 to 50 centimetres, whole bouquets from just a few bulbs. Cut flower.
Aquilla is a multiflora or bouquet tulip. Each bulb gives you multiple blooms on one stem. With a handful of bulbs you already have a full bouquet in the garden. Yellow-red, scented. 40 to 50 centimetres tall. April-May bloom. Plant in full sun to part shade, good drainage. Excellent cut flower. Brought indoors she blooms for weeks. Great for pots, borders and mass planting. Bees and butterflies love her.
