Description
Dark fruity apricot that ripens lighter towards soft salmon and pink. May, 50 to 60 centimetres, large Darwin Hybrid bloom. Colour that keeps changing before your eyes.
Apricot Delight belongs to the "Delight" series, selected at Keukenhof for extra-long bloom. Starts darker fruity apricot. In the sun it shifts towards lighter salmon and pink as it matures. Light contrasting edges on the petals add depth. Large bloom on strong stem. 50 to 60 centimetres. Blooms April to May. Plant in full sun to part shade, good drainage. Scented. Cut flower. Bees and butterflies will come.
