Description
White form of the Siberian star-hyacinth; nodding little stars in pure white. March, April. Glows in shady corners; combines nicely with blue and pink forms. This is what white can do as contrast.
Home around the Black Sea; full sun to full shade; well-draining; frost-hardy. Naturalizes and seeds itself; loved by bees and other insects; tough and reliable. Toxic if eaten; not mouse/rabbit resistant. After snowdrops for continuous white spring picture; strong white that flatters other small bulbs. Low maintenance; groups grow bigger every year.
