Narcissus Jetfire

The cyclamineus daffodils sweep their petals backwards like tiny wings, giving them a lively, windswept quality that other daffodils lack. Jetfire in warm golden-yellow to orange has this quality in abundance — a daffodil in motion even when the air is perfectly still. In March to May it fills borders and grass with colour and fragrance, naturalising readily and returning each year with slightly more bloom than the last. Cut stems last beautifully in water, bringing that spring freshness indoors where it belongs.
