Lilium Candidum

Strong-stemmed, vivid-coloured and reliably beautiful, Candidum is the Asiatic lily at its best. Its milk-white blooms appear in July and August facing upward with an openness that makes them particularly beautiful in borders and particularly useful in the vase. As a cut flower it is extraordinary — long stems, large blooms and, in Oriental varieties, a fragrance that fills a room completely. A few stems in a tall vase is all the decoration any room needs.
