Description
June through September: white funnel-shaped flowers on elegantly curved spires. Classic color, contemporary fragrance: fresh, peppery, lightly citrusy. 30 to 45 centimeters. A flower that is both pure and sweet.
Freesia is not winter-hardy. This is a summer bloomer you plant in March-April and harvest in June-September. The white form is classic: always beautiful, always right. Plant the corms in March or April, about five centimeters deep. Full sun, sheltered spot, good drainage. Top-tier cutting flower with long vase life. Stems may need discreet staking. Flowers open step-by-step along the curved spire for prolonged cutting pleasure.
