Description
March through May: cream-white flowers with recurved petals. Reddish-brown markings in the heart. Foliage green with purple marbling. A bloom with noble proportions. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Erythronium 'White Beauty' flowers cream-white. It is at home in half-shade under trees. The soil should be humus-rich and never too dry. The foliage is beautifully marbled. Ornamental after bloom too. Naturalizes and gradually expands into ever-wider clusters. Hardy, reliable, no rush. Rodents dislike erythronium, so it is safe. Years of pleasure ahead: avoid full sun and drought. A plant that gives you peace, not pressure.
