Description
Sky-blue daisy-like flowers with golden centres. They grow low and densely, like a cheerful carpet. In March and April they fill your garden.
These are Anemone blanda, the Eastern anemones that naturalize almost on their own. They love sun but also thrive in partial shade beneath trees. Year after year the flower carpet grows fuller. They combine beautifully with yellow daffodils or early tulips. Also suited to pots. Bees love them, and deer leave them alone. Groups of twenty or more work best.
