Allium Hair

The alliums that look like they're having a very good day: Hair produces clusters of unusual green and purple flowers topped with long, twisting filaments that give each stem an irresistibly lively, slightly wild character. As a cut flower it is exceptional — long-stemmed and dramatic in a vase, particularly at the stage where the globe is fully formed but still tightly closed.
