Bee-friendly garden — Bee Buffet

The first crocuses come up when little else is flowering, just when the first bees come out. Then the grape hyacinths take over, and in May and June the purple heads of the alliums stand above them. This way you give bees and butterflies food for months, right outside your own door.

Choose your size.

• S · ± 1.8 m²: 7 bags, 120 bulbs. A border or a good-sized corner.
• M · ± 3.6 m²: 14 bags, 240 bulbs. A whole front garden.
• L · ± 7.2 m²: 28 bags, 480 bulbs. Front and back garden together.

The bigger the size, the better the value per square metre.

What's in the box.

In size S:

• 3× Allium Sphaerocephalon, 20 bulbs per bag. Purple drumsticks in May and June that bees are drawn to.
• 2× Muscari Mixed, 20 bulbs per bag. Grape hyacinths low to the ground, from March to May.
• 2× Crocus Vernus Mixed, 10 bulbs per bag. The first colour of the year, in February and March.

In M every number doubles, in L it is multiplied by four.
